The Guthrie High School Lady Jays golf team turned in a strong showing on their home course, finishing fourth at the Guthrie Lady Jays Invitational held March 26 at Cimarron National Golf Club’s Aqua Canyon course.
Guthrie, led by head coach Jason Rice, posted a team score of 370, finishing behind McGuinness (342), Perkins (368), and Carl Albert (368). Lawton MacArthur rounded out the field with a 398.
Senior Tatum Brown led the Lady Jays with an 85, placing eighth overall. Sophomore Mallory Lemon followed with an 89 to finish 10th, while senior Taegan Reyes shot a 94 for 14th place.
Freshman Olivia Riley finished 24th with a 102, and senior Maely Beeby carded a 107 to place 31st.
Guthrie will be back in action Monday at Crimson Creek in El Reno as the Lady Jays continue their spring schedule.
