The Guthrie softball team remained perfect at home with two district wins over Southeast on Monday evening.
In game one, Guthrie took advantage of some defensive miscues by Southeast and pieced together some timely hits to collect the 10-0 run-rule win in five innings.
Guthrie scored eight runs in the second inning and added two more in the fifth for the walk-off shorten game.
Freshmen Karrah Dean pitched all five innings and did not allow a hit for her second no-hitter in as many tries.
Game two was more of a challenge although the 7-3 game was never in doubt for the Jays.
The offensive highlight of the day came off the bat of Hannah Dean as she sailed her second homerun of the season over the left field wall for a three-run shot.
Hannah Dean also collected the win in the circle and is now 2-1 on the year.
Trenda LeGrande added to the scoring with a RBI single in the third.
Madison Dutton put the exclamation point in the sixth inning when she delivered a RBI stand-up triple.
Guthrie improves to 4-1 overall and 4-0 in district games.
