Lady Jays tennis team takes the Harrah Tournament

Both the Guthrie tennis teams traveled to Harrah for the Harrrah BancFirst Tennis Tournament and it was the Lady Jays coming away with the tournament win. Meanwhile, the BlueJays took fourth overall.

#1 Singles Cheyenne Royal placed 1st

In the first round she defeated Harrah 6-1, 6-0
In the second round she defeated Moore 6-1, 6-0
In the finals she defeated Chickasha 6-4, 6-3

#2 Singles Kamber Smedley placed 3rd

She won her first round against Moore 6-1, 6-2
She lost her second round to Harrah 6-4, 6-3
In the 3^rd place match she defeated Christian Heritage 6-4, 4-6 10-8

#1 Doubles  Sarah Howells and Carissa Mathena placed 2nd

The won their first round against Midwest City 6-0, 6-0
In the second round they defeated Western Heights 6-3, 6-0
In the finals they lost to Moore 6-3, 6-4

#2 Doubles Ryan Robbins and Kaityln Walls placed 1^st

In the first round they defeated Harrah 6-1, 6-1
In the second round they defeated Chickasha 7-5, 6-1
In the finals they defeated Moore 6-2, 6-4

Boys placed 4th

#1 Singles Kirk Wilkes placed 7th

#2 Singles Dakota Leach placed 6th

#1 Doubles  Andy Hartley and Seth Vicchio placed 2nd
