Two Langston residents were ejected from their vehicle after it rolled several times on Interstate 35 in Garvin County.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Khalif Sanders, 22, of Langston was driving northbound when he departed the roadway to the left, over corrected to the right crossing both lanes of traffic, rolled several times down an embankment.
The impact ejected Sanders and his passenger, Angela McCullar, 20, of Langston.
Sanders was transported by Air-E-Vac to OU Medical Center, in Oklahoma City, and admitted in serious condition with head, arm, leg, trunk internal and trunk external injuries.
McCullar, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was transported by Murray County EMS to Mercy of Ardmore Hospital. She was admitted in stable condition with leg injuries.
The trooper’s report shows the condition of Sanders was sleepy and the cause of collision is listed as “apparently sleepy.”
