Library hosting military stress recovery project

The Guthrie Public Library and the 123barefoot Clinic will host a military stress recovery project Saturday May 18.

AcupuncturistCommunity style acupuncture treatments will be available to active duty, National Guard and reserve, and veterans of military service and immediate family members.

The event will be from 10:30 a.m. to noon inside the library’s meeting room.

Donations will be accepted.

Acupuncture treatments have allowed many military service personnel to experience diminishing symptoms of stress resulting in better sleep, less anger, reduced anxiety and depression, and improved quality of life.
