The Guthrie Noon Lions Club honored two of Guthrie High Schools finest senior students in Lindsey Ball and Bryce Anderson by naming them Students of the Month.
Lindsey is the daughter of David and Ellie Ball and is a member of the National Honor Society and a state officer in the Masonic Rainbow program and been recognized with an Masonic Academic Achievement Award for the last
three years. She is also a member of the FCCLA and the High School Key Club. Lindsey is active in the FFA program where she shows heifers. She has been a state qualifier in golf for the last two years. Lindsey plans on attending Oklahoma State University – Northwestern in Alva with a focus on Pre-Veterinary Medicine.
Bryce is the son of Barry and Wendy Anderson. He has been recognized on the Principal’s Honor Role and has attending the American Legions Boys State leadership program. Bryce is heavily involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the FFA and the high school’s science club. He has been a key part of the Guthrie High football and golf teams. Bryce plans on attending Oklahoma State University with a focus on General Business.
