Customers who pick up their prescriptions at a Guthrie grocery store will soon have to find a new pharmacy. The retailer will close down the pharmacy department this week.
Guthrie News Page has confirmed with multiple sources that the Homeland pharmacy department will be closing following Wednesday’s normal business hours (8 p.m.).
The sources say customers with current prescriptions will be able to pick them up at the Walgreens on S. Division beginning on Thursday.
A Homeland pharmacy customer told Guthrie News Page his prescription was being transferred to Walgreens.
Guthrie News Page reached out to the corporate office (HAC Inc.) on Monday morning for details. In an email response, a representative said they were unable to get in touch with the individual who can answer questions regarding the issue due to traveling this week.
