Local photographer winner of BancFirst photo contest

BancFirst announced the launch of the 2016 BancFirst Oklahoma! photo contest in January where they extended an invitation to photographers from all levels of expertise to submit their unique images from BancFirst communities across Oklahoma. Guthrie’s Julie Ayers has been selected as a winner of the contest. Her unique image of a boot shop in downtown Guthrie captured the spirit of Oklahoma in an artistic and interesting way that wowed BancFirst executives and employees.

Her photo will be featured in BancFirst promotional materials across the state. The contest is taking place throughout 2016, so other photographers still have the opportunity to submit photos to the contest for a chance to be featured by BancFirst.

“We are thrilled that Julie has been selected by BancFirst as a winner of the photo contest,” said BancFirst Guthrie president LaVerne Dowding.  “Her winning photo proves that no one is better equipped to capture the uniqueness of Oklahoma than the people that live here. That kind of community involvement is what BancFirst is all about, and we are very excited that a Guthrie photographer was recognized.”
