OK2A announced its annual award winners at the 2013 Oklahoma Second Amendment Policy Conference and Dinner. There were several awards to handed out, including an award presented to a local senator.
Earning the Freshman Legislator of the Year was Senator AJ Griffin of Guthrie.
The Freshman Legislator of the Year Award is given to the “freshman legislator who aggressively defends the God-given right of the individual to self-preservation and who advances significant legislation to restore the Second Amendment right of the individual to keep and bear arms.”
Along with Senator Griffin, Representative Jon Echols also earned the honor.
Once again, congratulations. So proud of you. You have certainly represented district 20 in an outstanding way.
Please. Senator griffin needs to spend a little more time legislating and a little less time having affairs.
