Local technology company supports CASA for Kids

CASA for Kids, Inc. has been an active non-profit service organization in Payne County for over 25 years.  In 2014, the CASA board of directors took the initiative to expand services into Logan County, and in 2016 a physical office space was established in Guthrie.  Since that time, programs in both counties have seen an increase in community involvement resulting in a greater number of children and families being served.

“Our organization has experienced a surge of growth over the past two years, almost doubling the number of cases we have been able to serve, and tripling the number of trained CASA volunteers actively serving on cases” said Ruth Cavins, Executive Director.  “With this growth has come new and increased financial needs for programming infrastructure and professional staff.”

Once such need has been for computer equipment and technology to support the CASA for Kids Case Supervisors in Logan County.  Russ Teubner, CEO and Co-Founder of HostBridge Technology, was quick to respond to this need.  HostBridge Technology provided a $5,500 grant.

“We chose to support CASA for two simple reasons.  First, it’s mission is vital.  Without CASA and its volunteers, abused or neglected kids would simply not have an effective advocate in the court system” said Teubner.  “Second, CASAs leadership has proven itself to be sound and effective in using resources to accomplish their mission.”

HostBridge Technology was founded in Stillwater in 2000, and maintains its headquarters in a historic building in the heart of downtown.  The company remains committed to Stillwater and the OSU community as an ideal location for accomplishing its mission:  Developing and delivering software used by the largest enterprises around the globe to enable integration of critical, legacy data and applications with web, mobile and cloud applications.
