Logan County 4-H Robotics Club receives grant

The Logan County 4-H Robotics Club received $500 in grant funds from the Oklahoma 4-H Foundation.  This grant provides funds to enhance and expand program delivery and improve the quality of educational programs for 4-H and adults.

This grant was used to purchase a new Lego Robotics set and storage containers for our robots.  Robotics equipment and technology are relatively expensive and our club has been working with minimal equipment since starting January 2023.  This new set allows 2-5 students work together on bi-weekly challenges that teach engineering and coding.

Our club currently has 16 youth members enrolled, ranging from 3rd grade to 8th grade.  Our club has had a lot of interest from younger members, which is great, but we’d love to add some older members too!  Our club allows any youth 3rd-12th grade living in Logan County.

For more information about joining 4-H or Robotics Club, contact Dawn Andrew, dawn.andrew@okstate.edu, or 405-282-3331.
