Logan County deputies seek help identifying burglary suspect at farm equipment store

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a burglary at Beck’s Farm Equipment.

According to the sheriff’s office, the burglary occurred on Dec. 19.

Investigators say the suspect stole more than $3,700 worth of equipment from the business, including five chainsaws, and caused damage to the property by forcing entry through a side door.

Beck’s Farm Equipment’s ownership described the incident as a significant blow to the small, family-owned business.

“We had five chainsaws stolen by this person and our side door busted,” the ownership team said. “Nothing makes me more sick than to put in all the work to keep this small family business running and supporting our employees than for someone to take what we have worked so hard for.”

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or vehicle, or who has information that could assist in the investigation, is asked to contact Lt. Lewellyn with the Logan County Sheriff’s Office at 405-282-4100 or by email at slewellyn@logancountyso.org.
