A Logan County man is facing a total of 10 charges after his home was served with a search warrant. The man admitted to distributing and possessing child pornography images and videos.
An Oklahoma Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force member from the Edmond Police Department arrested Stephen DeWayne Huckeba, 52, of Edmond at his residence. The Edmond detective received more than a dozen child pornography videos.
Task force members from the Edmond Police Department, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office, with the assistance of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office help serve the warrant at 200 East Rock Circle Drive in southern Logan County on Friday.
According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations, several computer-related items were located and seized. The computer items will be taken to the Edmond police computer laboratory for forensic examination where they will check the computers for evidence of child pornography images and videos as well as any chat communication or emails relating to child pornography, if during the search it is found that the defendant visited adult porn websites or has any adult pornography videos or images stored on his computers these will not be taken into account regarding this case as adult pornography is legal. The case is still under investigation to determine if any local children are in any of the images.
Huckeba has been booked into the Logan County Jail and is being held on a $100,000 bond. He is expected to be back in the courtroom on Nov. 21. The charges including five counts of procuring child pornography and five counts of the violation of computer crimes act.
