The boom in southern Logan County population continues to rise and the overall growth throughout the county is among the top in the state.
According to U.S. Census Bureau data, Logan County ranks third in population growth behind Canadian and McClain counties. The five fastest-growing counties in the state — Canadian, McClain, Oklahoma, Logan and Cleveland counties — are all in the Oklahoma City metro area.
In 2016, Logan County saw a growth of 632 in population, or 1.3 percent, compared to 2015. Overall, the data shows a population of 46,588 for Logan County.
Since 2010, the growth in Logan County has risen by 4,519, or 9.6 percent.
