Guthrie wrestlers Cole Madison and Colby Wilder Blue competed in Indianapolis this past week with the Oklahoma Schoolboy National Team. On Thursday and Friday, both wrestler’s teams (Oklahoma Red and Blue) made history making All-American in Greco wrestling.
Madison helped the Oklahoma Red team to a third-place finish and Wilder assisted Oklahoma Blue with an 8th place finish.
Both teams competed in the freestyle tournament with the Red team coming away as the tournament runnerup and team Blue 14th out of 39 teams.
Madison and Wilder were coached by Jay Howard.
