A man has bailed out of jail and faces a charge of sexual battery. The man accused of the crime admitted to police he had made an “error”, according to a police report.
A detective and police officer responded to Armando’s Mexican Restaurant on July 27 for a report of a sexual assault. When they arrived they found a 22-year-old female extremely emotional.
The female claims she was talking to her boss Reyes Rojas-Pina, 55, and helping him reset the wifi. She says after she turned the internet on, Rojas was smirking and said “pregnant women get big (explicit)” and reached toward her and grabbed her right breast, according to the report.
The female told investigators she pushed Rojas hands away and told him to stop as he continued to laugh.
At the Guthrie Police Department, Rojas reportedly made the comment that he touched her breast on purpose. He says it was just an error and if he ever did it again he would allow investigators to arrest him.
Rojas was arrested and transported to the Logan County Jail.
A bail bondsman posted a $10,000 bond on July 31.
Rojas is expected back in court on August 24 at 9 a.m.
