Man, dogs attacked by loose pit bulls in downtown

Bookmark and Share

Last week resident Gary Good was walking his two dogs in downtown Guthrie when all of a sudden they were encountered by two loose pit bulls. It was then, Good and his dogs were under attack.

Good was knocked into a cement planter at the intersection of Oklahoma and Division when one of the pit bulls went to attack just before 10 a.m. Before anyone could help, Good and one of his dogs (Rico) had suffered injuries.

Good suffered two broken ribs, dog bites and scratches. Rico required stitches while Izzy managed to escape with no injuries.

KOCO visited with Good about the attack last week.

  1. Where are the Pit Bulls which attacked? Anyone claiming ownership. Such a tragedy for this nice man and his two precious dogs. So sad that my hometown isn’t safe for him to walk his dogs due to irresponsible dog owners who don’t keep their dogs in their own yards.
