Clyne Miles will likely spend the rest of his days behind prison bars after he was sentenced to a term of life imprisonment in the death of Robyn Miles
Guthrie News Page was quick on the scene in January 2019 when Miles was arrested and charged with the death of his spouse, who was found deceased inside their home at 125 Viking Dr.
The case was investigated by the Guthrie Police Department with the late Lt. Mark Bruning leading the investigation.
Miles called 911 stating he had been shot at his home by his wife while in bed. Once officers arrived at the home, they found Miles in the front yard with a gunshot wound to the left leg.
Officers found the body of Robyn Miles in the master bedroom deceased from a gunshot wound to the chest.
Under the body was a 9 mm casing and on the living room floor a 9 mm handgun was found.
Miles entered a blind plea and was sentenced by Judge Louis Duel, on Friday, on charges including murder in the second degree and lewd acts with a human corpse.
Miles, 53, will be eligible for parole in 38.5 years.
The judge ordered Miles to pay for all costs and ruled all counts are to run concurrently with credit for time served.
Of the current inmates in the Logan County Detention Center, Miles is the longest-serving inmate. He was booked in on Jan. 6, 2019.
