Updated at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 28, 2016 — The Guthrie Police Department released a few more details on Monday regarding a man being stabbed and robbed last week.
Guthrie News Page was on the scene of a stabbing in the 100 block of W. Sigma. The male victim is currently listed in stable condition in a Oklahoma City hospital.
Police say a witness described two unidentified black males driving two separate vehicles, a silver car and a black car, who exited their vehicles and attacked the victim with an unknown object. The suspects reportedly took the victim’s wallet and phone before speeding away.
The case is currently under investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division who are attempting to identify suspects.

Guthrie Police are investigating a stabbing that took place Friday night.
Just after 8 p.m. an adult male and female were walking on Sigma Place (just west of S. Division St.) when reportedly two males jumped out of their vehicle and stabbed the male victim. The two suspects took off with the victim’s wallet.
Investigators are working on further details, including the description of the suspect’s vehicle.
The victim, who was transported to OU Medical Center, was stabbed in the abdomen with an unknown object. Officials on the scene believe the weapon may have been a screwdriver.
As Guthrie EMS arrived on the scene, a police officer was seen adding pressure to the victim’s wound.
The injury does not appear to be life threatening.
