Bluejays pounded McAlester on Friday 16-2 at Tecumseh in five innings.

Bluejays scored seven runs in the fourth on a three-run double by Zane Maltz, a two-run double by Jacob Chappell, and a two-run double by Reed Roberts.

Chappell racked up two RBIs on four hits for Bluejays.

McAlester couldn’t get anything going as long as Rowdy Reihs was pitching. McAlester managed just three hits off of Reihs, who allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out two during his five innings of work.

Bluejays went up for good in the second, scoring four runs on.
