A Logan County judge has found enough evidence for a Texas woman to stand trial for a murder that took place in Guthrie last December.
Beverly Rhea McColm (08-29-1946) was arrested, on December 20, at her home in Forney, Texas for the murder of Francis Maurice Byrd.
Byrd was found dead in his Guthrie home located at 1223 East Vilas with four gunshot wounds to his back.
On Tuesday, Judge R.L. Hert Jr. found probable cause that Mccomb is believed to have committed the crime. She remains in the Logan County jail and is being held without bond.
Mccomb will be bound over for a trial court arraignment on July 20 at 9 a.m.
