Meet the new city manager on Tuesday

A public reception will be held to welcome Guthrie’s new city manager.

Leroy Alsup begins his role as Guthrie’s city manager on Monday, Feb. 6. He was hired last December and has over 30 years in municipal management and most recently comes from McAlester, where he served as their director of community planning and economic development. The reception will be Tuesday (Feb. 7) at 6 p.m. on the second floor of City Hall. Afterwards at 7 p.m., the regular scheduled city council meeting will be held. Free refreshments will be provided.
