With the recent sale of Logan Medical Center to Mercy Health System of Oklahoma, the health care system continued to expand by adding three family medical clinics to its growing number of primary care practices.
Ada Family Medical Center, with affiliated clinics in Noble and Tecumseh, became Mercy Clinic Ada (and Mercy Clinic Noble and Mercy Clinic Tecumseh, respectively) effective Sept. 1.
“This partnership will help lower costs and it will assist us in complying with the ever-increasing mandates thrust upon us,” said T. Steven Ivan, D.O., a family practice physician at Mercy Clinic Ada. “It will also allow us to offer even more services.”
Mercy and LMC agreed of the $7.26 million sale on August 29th with the expected take over officially taken place on October 1st of this year. The new name for the Logan County hospital will be Mercy Hospital Logan County.
