Midwest Boulevard between Charter Oak and Simmons will be closed beginning Tuesday, September 2, for scheduled road work.
Drivers are urged to plan and use alternate routes while crews complete improvements in the area.
The closure is expected to impact daily commutes and local traffic flow; therefore, motorists are encouraged to allow extra travel time and remain alert for detour signage.
It was not immediately known how long the road would be closed off.
