STILLWATER, Okla. – Meridian Technology Center’s South Campus will host a Free Coworking Week from November 14-18 at The Peak to celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week and launch the campus’s new coworking space.
Global Entrepreneurship Week empowers entrepreneurs and those facing barriers to start their own company or brand. The week highlights voices, events and organizations to inspire entrepreneurs everywhere.
The Peak, located at 3025 Division St. in Guthrie, houses an open-concept coworking space for those looking to work solo or host a team meeting. The space is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. No reservation is needed.
“Coworking spaces serve a diverse group of entrepreneurs and employees,” said Justin Hazzard, Director of Business and Entrepreneurial Services. “We know that when people are looking for a space to work, they want a setting that is energizing as well as amenities that make the workday more productive and collaborative. That’s what they’ll find at The Peak.”
Coworking at The Peak will be free for the week and after November 18 the space can be used for $50 a month. Those interested can work as long as needed during the hours the space is open.
The Peak is a business incubator that provides dedicated space and services for early-stage startups to help them accelerate through the most challenging phase of building a business.
Their services include business consultation and coaching, workshops, programs and networking opportunities. The Peak has ten furnished business offices with numerous built-in amenities and three industrial manufacturing bays, each with an office and storage room.
