Mulhall-Orlando FFA officers attend agricultural literacy training

Two Mulhall-Orlando FFA officers are bringing new skills back to their chapter after participating in a workshop focused on agricultural literacy.

FFA officers Joci and Braylea attended “Building the Bridge to Increase Agricultural Literacy,” a workshop designed to prepare FFA members to work with elementary students on understanding the importance of agriculture in everyday life.

The training provided new tools and resources for the students to help younger children learn how agriculture impacts the food they eat, the clothes they wear, and the communities they live in.

“We are proud of Joci and Braylea for representing our chapter and taking part in opportunities that promote agricultural education in our community,” said Mulhall-Orlando FFA Reporter Kilee Blehm.
