Candidates for municipal office in six Logan County municipalities file declarations of candidacy beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, February 2. Three city council seats and the mayor position for the City of Guthrie are up for election.
Erin Dorio, Secretary of the County Election Board, said the filing period ends at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4.
Declarations of Candidacy will be accepted at the County Election Board office for the indicated offices for each of the following municipalities.
The municipal offices at stake in Guthrie, Crescent, Langston, Marshall, Mulhall, and Orlando will be filled in the nonpartisan General Election scheduled for April 7.
City of Guthrie—Mayor- 2 year term
City of Guthrie—Councilmember Ward 1, 2, & 3- 4 year term
City of Crescent—Councilmember at Large- 4 year term
City of Crescent—Councilmember Ward 3 & 4- 4 year term
Town of Langston—Board of Trustees, Office No. 1 & 3- 4 year term
Town of Langston—Town Clerk-Treasurer- 4 year term
Town of Marshall—Board of Trustees, Position 1 & 3- 4 year term
Town of Marshall—Town Clerk- 4 year term
Town of Mulhall—Board of Trustees, Office No. 1 & 3- 4 year term
Town of Orlando—Board of Trustees, Position 1 & 3- 4 year term
