Noble Avenue Baptist Church held a Chili Challenge to help Cotteral Elementary’s clothing closet. The benefit scored hundreds of dollars for the program.

A variety of crock pots were on display and full of chili for the masses to enjoy.

The event raised nearly $400 to help students who are in need of clothes.

Taking the top spot for the second year in a row was Maxine Rudkin and her family’s secret recipe. So secretive, the name of the chili will go unnamed. Second place went to KarAn Privette’s hamburger chili and taking third prize was Johnny’s Rib Shack’s bean and brisket chili.
