The Oklahoma Highway Patrol worked ten fatal crashes with eleven total fatalities. Six of the fatality victims were not wearing safety belts.
According to Trooper Betsy Randolph, OHP made 91 DUI arrests, 792 speed citations, 707 seatbelt citations, 31 child restraints, 160 total collisions were worked, with 16 determined to be alcohol related.
OHP also assisted 470 motorists across the state.
OHP Marine Enforcement Division worked three drownings on state lakes: Tom Steed Lake, Lake Thunderbird and Kaw Lake.
