One person was taken into custody Tuesday morning after he led police officers in a high-speed chase beginning in Oklahoma City and ending in Guthrie.
OKC police attempted to stop a black vehicle believed to be connected to a burglary, but when the driver refused to stop the chase was on.
With speeds over 100 mph, the chase entered Logan County, where deputies were waiting at Waterloo Road.
The suspect was seen passing on the shoulder of the highway as KFOR-TV carried the chase live from the helicopter above.
The vehicle took exit 157 and onto Highway 33, but quickly lost control when the driver turned east, jumped the median and ran over a speed limit sign.
With guns drawn from several police officers, the driver attempted to run but thought better and retreated back into the vehicle.
After a short standoff, the driver was taken into custody without any further incident.
