The Arts in Guthrie has announced a town hall meeting and two days later a group will be in town for a site visit.
A town hall meeting is planned for Thursday, May 12, at 7 p.m. at the Guthrie High School cafeteria located at 200 Crooks Dr. The purpose of the meeting is to get feedback from the community at large as to issues that are of importance to them. The public is encouraged to attend.
On Saturday, May 14, a group from Oklahoma Creative Communities will stop by in Guthrie for a site visit from 1 – 3 p.m.
“I encourage you to attend this meeting if at all possible,” Director Lucy Swanson said.
“The city has offered to let us use the facilities at City Hall to have the meeting so that it can be recorded and shared via Channel 20 – GTV. This is very generous of them, and we are grateful for their partnership.”
You’re encouraged to reserve your spot so organizers will know which room to use for the meeting. For additional email Swanson at theartsinguthrie@gmail.com.
