GUTHRIE, Okla. — A fundraising dinner and program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Oklahoma Territorial Museum will take place on Thursday, November 16, from 6-8 p.m. at the Guthrie Depot. The Oklahoma Territorial Museum opened to the public on November 16, 1973. It tells the story of the determined people who laid the foundation for the state of Oklahoma.
Tickets are $65 per person and can be purchased online. A cash bar will be available. Dinner will be catered by Gage’s Steak House. Guests can also bid on silent auction items.
The Guthrie Depot is located at 409 W. Oklahoma Ave. in Guthrie, about half a mile from the Oklahoma Territorial Museum at 406 E. Oklahoma Ave. in Guthrie. For more information, please call 405-282-1889.
The Oklahoma Territorial Museum and Carnegie Library is a division of the Oklahoma Historical Society. The mission of the Oklahoma Historical Society is to collect, preserve and share the history and culture of the state of Oklahoma and its people.
