Athletes from years ago from the University of Oklahoma all came together for an evening of entertainment inside the Territorial Capital Sports Museum.
It was a packed banquet room of Sooners Thursday evening inside Guthrie’s sports museum with an estimated 125 alums and their family. The group enjoyed a cater dinner from none other than Billy Sims BBQ.
Afterwards, the Byron Berline Band took stage and entertained the crowd with their music. Berline, a former OU track athlete, had a few wise cracks about Texas that sent the room into laughter.
Director Richard Hendricks gave the history of the museum and what the museum has to offer for Oklahoma athletes.
