A semi-truck carrying an oversize load on a trailer clipped a light pole at a busy Guthrie intersection.
Guthrie Police along with OG&E and Cox responded to the area of Pine and Noble. Upon arrival saw the City’s light pole, that was in the median, laying in the road. The power line connected came down and was also in the street.
The accident occurred around 3:30 p.m. causing the inside east bound lane to be closed. Traffic was eventually opened to both lanes just before 5:00 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
