Jennifer Bozarth announced in church this week that an organization she is spearheading, known as “Vision Farms”, has been awarded a $1,000 grant from The Presbyterian Hunger Program.
The Presbyterian Hunger Program (PHP), a ministry of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), works with Presbyterians and other partners to alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes, respond-ing with compassion and justice to poor and hungry people in local communities in the United States and internationally.
At Vision Farms, Jennifer and her business partners are growing food that is being shared with all the local food distribution organizations in our county, including Brunch on Noble at our church. This project has really blossomed and turned into something we couldn’t even imagine.

If you’d like to get involved with this exciting new venture, and help address hunger right here at home, contact Jennifer Bozarth at 570-2505. Their grant encourages recipients to involve as many folks in the community as possible in order to ensure sustainability.
