A man has been taken to an Oklahoma City hospital after he was struck by a vehicle near I-35 on Thursday morning.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the I-35 southbound on-ramp near Highway 33 at 7:09 a.m. for a vehicle-pedestrian accident.
The pedestrian was reported not moving, but breathing before medical crews arrived to the scene.
An investigation is still ongoing, but according to reports the male pedestrian entered the roadway from the west and was struck by the vehicle, who was attempting to enter the highway.
A medical helicopter was canceled, but the man was transported to OU Medical Center by Guthrie EMS.
