Guthrie – United Way of Logan County announced its 2021 fundraising total during the organization’s Campaign Celebration event on Tuesday, March 22, at the Guthrie Depot. The campaign raised a grand total of $190,090 to be invested on behalf of donors to meet the community’s health and human service needs.
“During a challenging campaign year, we are humbled to have surpassed our campaign goal,” said Michelle Chapple, United Way of Logan County Advisory Board President. “The generosity of our donors ensures that our Partner Agencies can continue to share the gift of life for Logan County residents in need, and we couldn’t be more thankful for their remarkable support.”
In addition, the celebration recognized Environmental Management, Inc., as the 2021 Corporate Spirit award winner as well as three volunteer award winners for their dedicated service to United Way of Logan County:
• Kristal Flury, 2021 Outstanding Employee Campaign Coordinator
• Doug Ogle, 2021 Newcomer of the Year
• Linda Miller, 2021 Volunteer of the Year
United Way of Logan County allocates donor dollars to 12 programs administered by 11
Partner Agencies. All programs are reviewed annually by donor volunteers to ensure
contributions are properly invested with the highest level of accountability.
