A space heater was the cause for another fire on Thursday morning. The latest fire occurred on the east side of Guthrie.
The Guthrie Fire Department responded to 1224 E. Harrison Ave. at 10:27 a.m.
Fire crews found a small fire in a bedroom.
Fire Chief Eric Harlow says a space heater was placed too close to bedding and combustible materials.
The heater was placed in the bedroom for a pet pig that lived in the home. The pig was unharmed.
The fire caused an estimate of less than $1,000 with minimal damage to the carpet and belongings.
