A search was called off Friday morning after two suspects jumped out of a vehicle in southern Logan County.

Oklahoma County sheriff’s deputies attempted to pull over what they believed to have been a stolen vehicle, but the driver and the passenger took off leading the deputies on a high-speed pursuit.

Speeds were reported as high as 127 miles per hour.

Police say the car eventually crashed into a Logan County field near South Midwest Boulevard and East Redbud Lane where both had taken off on foot.

Once on the ground deputies for Logan County aided in the search.

A K9 unit was able to bring down the passenger of the vehicle and was quickly taken into custody. Meanwhile, after an hour into the search, led by Oklahoma County investigators, it was called off for the driver.

Law agencies were searching for a white male in his early 30’s in a black jacket.
