The votes are in and Guthrie News Page readers have determined the best and worst moustache at the Guthrie Fire Department.
In November, firefighters participated in Movember (a portmanteau word from moustache and “November”). An annual, month-long event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of prostate cancer and other male cancer and associated charities.
In October firefighters wore pink T-shirts in a campaign to extinguish cancer through National Breast Cancer Awareness.
Taking the best moustache was Dane Lausen (picture 1) while Daniel Morton (picture 3) took the bottom spot for the worse moustache. Lausen collected 36 percent of the vote while Morton took home nearly half the votes at 48 percent.
