The Guthrie Bluejays will begin post season play on Thursday when the Jays travel to Midwest City for the four team regional with the winner moving on to the Class 5A state tournament.
The Jays, who are the No. 2 seed team in the regional, will begin play at 1:30 p.m. against El Reno.
In the first game at 11 a.m., regional host Carl Albert will take on Noble.
All games will be played at Carl Albert.
Guthrie (14-14) did not play Carl Albert (16-18) or El Reno (10-19) in the regular season and went 2-0 against district opponent Noble (5-21).
The two winners on Thursday will meet up at 4 p.m. while the two losers play at 6:30 p.m.
The tournament format is a double elimination.
Thursday Games
Game 1 – Carl Albert vs Noble at 11 a.m.
Game 2 – Guthrie vs El Reno at 1:30
Game 3 – Winner Game 1 vs Winner Game 2 at 4 p.m.
Game 4 – Loser Game 1 vs Loser Game 2 at 6:30 p.m.
Friday Games
Game 5 – Winner Game 4 vs Loser Game 3 at 2 p.m.
Game 6 – Winner Game 3 vs Winner Game 5 at 4:30 p.m.
Saturday Game (if necessary)
Game 7 – 12 p.m. between Game 6 teams
