Residents of Guthrie may notice something a little different this week as the Relay for Life committee members invite everyone to “Paint the Town Purple” in effort to fight cancer, to see a brighter tomorrow and celebrate more birthdays.

The week-long event is their way of bringing awareness to the city of Guthrie by promoting healthy choices and fundraising for the American Cancer Society through Relay for Life of Logan County 2012.
