Crossroads Clinic will host the Rescue Me 5K Run and 2-mile Walk for Life on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Mineral Wells Park in Guthrie. The race route will take you through historic downtown Guthrie and the family-friendly event will feature live music, face painting, balloon animals, a bounce house, hot dogs, chips & drinks.
Oklahoma television personality, Ed Murray, will be the emcee. Special guest appearance: Joan Naylor, an Edmond resident instrumental in starting Rose Day at the State Capitol.
Crossroads Clinic is a not-for-profit Crisis Pregnancy Center whose comprehensive, free services include pregnancy tests, options counseling, ultrasound to diagnose pregnancy, STI/STD Testing and Treatment, post-abortion counseling and abstinence education.
The entry fee for the 5K is $30.00 and includes a t-shirt. Registration after September 20th will be an additional $5.00. There is no charge for the 2-mile Walk for Life but participants must register. To register or for more information please visit www.walkforlifeguthrie.com or call 405-282-0800.
