Guthrie Public Schools will be searching to fill two administrator positions before the start of the next school year.
On Thursday morning, Chad Wilson, the Executive Director of Personnel and Secondary Education, and Maranda Wilson, the Principal at Central Elementary, announced their resignation.
Chad Wilson has accepted the superintendent’s job with Dover Public Schools in Kingfisher County. Wilson held the Guthrie secondary education position for two years after serving as the high school principal.
Maranda Wilson served as an assistant principal in the district and was currently serving as the principal at Central Elementary.
The Board of Education is expected to accept the resignations at an upcoming meeting.
