If you watch News Channel 4 you are likely familiar with their Wednesday evening special on the 10 o’clock newscast with the Pay It 4Ward segment. A Guthrie school employee recently received the award.
Jana Frey, who works as the Financial Secretary at Guthrie Upper Elementary School, was surprised by KFOR and Kevin Ogle last week with the weekly Pay It 4Ward award.
Frey was nominated by her co-worker Glenda Jarnigan for the many acts of kindness and going above and beyond the call of duty both at school, church, family and in the community.
Frey received $400 as part of the recognition.
