With the first day of school drawing closer (August 19th) for Guthrie Public Schools, the required paper work and enrollment process begins this week.
At enrollment, parents will need to provide two proofs of residency, as well as other requested information according to the school’s website.
Elementary School Enrollment
On August 8, 10, and 12 enrollment times will be from 8 a.m. to noon & 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. On August 9th and 11th, times will be from noon until 7:00 p.m.
Meet the Teacher will be on August 17 from noon to 7 p.m. Teacher assignment will be provided at this time. (see enrollment dates above) will not be provided a teacher assignment at this time.
Junior High Enrollment
The Junior High will begin enrolling and accepting proofs of residency from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on August 8, 9 and 10.
Schedule pick ups, proofs of residency and form completion will be on August 11th from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and August 12th from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Thru August 18th, during the hours listed, parents of current students will need to go to their student’s school site, verify the enrollment information on file, complete any remaining forms necessary, and submit the two required proofs of residency.
GPS recommends proof of residency be turned in prior to schedule pick up day.
High School Enrollment
August 8 and 9 enrollment forms and proofs of residency (grades 9-12) will be from 8 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Senior schedule pick ups, proofs of residency and form completion will be August 10th from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.
Junior schedule pick ups, proofs of residency and form completion will be August 11th from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.
Sophomore schedule pick ups, proofs of residency and form completion will be August 12th from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.
Freshman orientation will be from 9:00 a.m. to noon, followed by freshman schedule pick up, proofs of residency and form completion. Students can complete their enrollment process anytime between 12 noon and 3:30 p.m., it does not have to be immediately after orientation.
On August 15th open enrollment and schedule pick up for all high school students will be in the cafeteria from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
