Sibshops fun day set for this Saturday

Sibshops are pedal-to-the-metal celebrations of the many contributions made by brothers and sisters of kids with special needs. A celebration is planned on Saturay at the Guthrie Public Library.

SibshopsA fun workshop for school aged children that have a brother or sister with a disability or special health care need. The fun begins at 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 15.

All family members are affected when there is a child with a special need – siblings have the longest lasting relationship – the three-hour program is dedicated to the typical sibling.

Come to the Guthrie Library on Saturday for fun, lunch and meet other young people with brothers and sisters just like you.

For more information on sibshops visit the Sibling Support Project website, or contact Amanda Fortney.
