Sirens were sounded in the Guthrie area early Saturday morning as storms came rumbling through Logan County.
City of Guthrie and Logan County set off the sirens at approximately 2:45 a.m. as southern Logan County was issued a tornado warning after circulation was spotted near Piedmont in Oklahoma County.
A good portion of the state, including Logan County remain in a tornado watch until 9:00 a.m. Saturday.
The center of the storm stayed to the south of the Guthrie area as it tracked to the northeast. Radar indicated circulation around the Lazy E Arena, but no tornadoes were reported.
Emergency Manager David Ball said his office was not aware of any damage in the county. Several tree debris was found in city streets, but was quickly cleaned off by city crews.
Police were forced to shut down a portion of Division Street, near Mineral Wells Park, due to flooding. The road way was reopened at 4:11 a.m.
According to the mesonet, Guthrie has received 3.36 inches of rain.
