Sooner SUCCESS is hosting a respite program and SibShop on March 31 from 12-4 p.m. at the Simple Life Center. This program is becoming very successful thanks to our community partners especially the Simple Life Center and Job Corp.
Sibshops are opportunities from brothers and sisters of children with disabilities and special health care needs to obtain peer support and education within a recreational context.
Sibshops are for siblings, between the ages of 6 and 14, of children with special needs.
The program currently needs additional support to continue to provide meals for the participants. Any community member or organization who would like to provide support, either financial or with food items, can contact Brandy Parks by email, or by phone at (405) 431-0709.
