A group of teachers from Guthrie Junior High School were recognized and honored for their dedication. Members of the Citizens of Quality Education and Legends Food and Sport combined their efforts to treat the educators and to say thank you.

Teachers Samantha Foshee, Julie Bertonlino, Jon Chappell and Joan Hagy were treated to lunch on Friday afternoon.
CQE member Sondra Danner helped bring the idea of honoring teachers on a monthly basis for the work they do inside and outside of the classroom.
Dj Willett, proprietor of Legends, quickly came on board to help acknowledge and support the classroom teacher.
The CQE group will next meet on Monday, March 31 at 6 p.m. inside Cotteral Elementary and will take a tour of the building. The public is encouraged to attend.
